 I used to read nothing but historical romances for the longest time. Glad I was given the chance to read this one. This was a great Christmas time story. Being that this is book two I am assuming that the characters were developed somewhat in book one. Since I did not get to read book one I felt this book needed a little more details to connect quicker with the characters. However, I did not have any problems connecting with the characters during their hot and sexy love scenes, or during Pearl's moments with the ornaments. As far as Ethan goes....where can I get me some of him??  Yummy....

This is a good, quick sexy read that is well written.

I need a long cold shower after reading this one!  I have to say that I have not read a detailed erotica such as this. The play scenes in this story were so well written that I could "see" them taking place. The BDSM scenes are intriguing and completely different than what I am used to reading. At first I was a little put off by Travis when the monster side of him came, but the author quickly drew me in to seeing his side and how he handled his urges. Cara's urges were a different matter for me. Not being in the lifestyle, I don't understand why a woman would want to be treated the way she craves, but then again, if I were to give it a try...who knows?  LOL  This story brought out all kinds of emotions and I couldn't put it down.  For me it was well worth the read and I look forward to more works like this from the author!

The way the author writes makes you fall in love with the characters and the cover of this book is exactly what Hunter looks like in my dreams…I mean my head. When I first started reading the story I was extremely confused with the very first page. Moving past that, I was able to get into the story line and figure out what was going on. Having not read the first book, I was not familiar with the characters yet. I have the first book and plan on backtracking to read it too. I like how the author writes, with interesting plots that keeps your attention. I am looking forward to reading book one and any more that follow!
